We have a strong track record for working in partnership with local Initial Teacher Training providers through provision of high-quality teaching placements. Our strategic partner is Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training (YWTT), an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' provider. The Trust can also support potential candidates through a range of alternative routes into teaching.
Inspiring the next generation of teachers, over the last academic year our Trust proudly hosted 36 Initial Teacher Training (ITT) trainees across a range of school placements. Through key partnerships with The Yorkshire Wolds SCITT and the University of Hull, trainees received high quality mentoring and practical experience, including via innovative fast-track routes to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through programmes such as the BA (Hons) in Primary and Secondary Teaching Studies. These placements support aspiring educators in developing real-world skills and confidence. Our schools provide inclusive, supportive environments where new teachers can thrive. Looking ahead, we’re excited to welcome Vantage North Humber Teacher Training placements, further expanding our commitment to teacher development. We’re proud to shape the future of education through these valued partnerships.

We recognise that teachers deserve high-quality support throughout their careers, particularly in those first years after training when the learning curve is steepest and we are committed to ensuring the Early Career Framework (ECF) fits seamlessly into the support we give to teachers at all career stages. Our delivery partner for the Full Induction Programme (as well as for Appropriate Body Services) is Vantage Teaching School Hub, who work in partnership with Teach First.
"Watching their confidence grow and their skills develop has been incredibly rewarding. The supportive community and comprehensive training ensure every trainee thrives, fostering a new generation of dedicated and passionate educators."
