People Survey
Our staff survey in June 2025 continued to shape the Trust's ongoing efforts to engage, support and develop its workforce, by providing an opportunity for colleagues to share their views. Feedback was thoughtful, honest and extremely valuable.
- 76% of colleagues would recommend the Trust as a good place to work
- Colleagues welcome the timely, regular updates they receive from schools and services
- Line Managers are supportive, accessible and considerate of professional/personal needs
- Colleagues enjoy a sense of wellbeing and appreciate a strong sense of support from trusted colleagues
While important work will continue within individual schools, our Trust-wide focus for 2026 centres on six key areas: prioritising workload management; flexible working; clear career pathways; increasing staff voice and leadership engagement; reducing disruptive behaviour and continuing to develop of Trust community.
Employee Engagement Group - Have Your Say!
The Employee Engagement Group exists to:
- promote a culture of mutual respect, inclusivity and trust across the Trust
- gather and assess employee feedback on various aspects of the work environment and culture
- identify and recommend initiatives to improve employee engagement, well-being and professional development
- act as a liaison between employees and senior leadership, ensuring that employee concerns and suggestions are communicated and considered
- work collaboratively to design and implement engagement activities, events and programmes that support staff motivation and retention
- monitor and review the effectiveness of employee engagement initiatives and suggest improvements where necessary
