    Oakfield Join Our Trust

The Consortium Academy Trust and Hull City Council are pleased to announce that Oakfield Special School has joined the Trust, marking a significant and positive milestone for both organisations.

Ian Furlong, Chair of The Consortium Academy Trust and Lizann Lowson, CEO of The Consortium Academy Trust welcomed the school, saying: “It gives us great pleasure, on behalf of the Trust, to formally welcome Oakfield School as it joins The Consortium Academy Trust. This is an important and positive milestone, as we are joined by a school whose expertise, values and commitment to supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs enriches and strengthens our entire community.

We believe that every child deserves access to high‑quality education, tailored support, and opportunities that reflect their potential. The addition of Oakfield enhances our ability to deliver on that promise. We look forward to learning from Oakfield's expertise, sharing best practice across our schools, and collaborating in ways that ensure the very best outcomes for all the young people we serve.”
