The Trust is pleased to announce that following a recent meeting of the Regional Schools Commissioner’s Headteacher Board we have been asked to sponsor South Holderness Technology College as they convert to become an academy.

The school was recently judged as Requiring Significant Improvement by Ofsted and we are already supporting the senior leadership and governors of the school through the East Riding School Improvement Programme. This phase of our work is being led by Sarah Young who is acting in an Executive Headteacher capacity to support the Headteacher, Liz Croft, deliver the post Ofsted Action Plan.

We will be working with the school, the Local Authority and the DfE over the coming months on the conversion process and we are confident that with support, the school has the capacity to improve. We look forward to South Holderness joining the Trust in due course.
