    Careers

As a Trust, we are committed to providing impartial, high‑quality careers information, advice and guidance that helps learners—and their parents—understand the full range of education, training and career opportunities available to them.

We recognise that learners require different types of support at different stages, and we tailor our provision to ensure every learner receives the guidance they need to make informed choices and plan confidently for their future.

From Years 7 to 11, learners are introduced to the world of work through dedicated careers lessons, themed drop‑down days and one‑to‑one careers interviews. These experiences help them explore a wide range of pathways and understand the skills, knowledge and qualifications needed for different roles.

We work in strong partnership with further and higher education providers, employers and external organisations to broaden learners’ understanding of work, training and employment. Through an extensive programme of enrichment activities—including careers fairs, employer visits, guest speakers, external trips and work experience—learners develop valuable insights into the workplace and the skills required to succeed.

We are proud of our extensive employer links, and we value the vital role employers play in enriching our careers offer. Their involvement includes careers speed networking, mock interviews, contributions to classroom teaching, support for enterprise projects and the provision of meaningful work experience opportunities.
