News from Hessle: ''Today marks the culmination of a long journey for students who are collecting their A Level Results. The way in which students’ grades have been calculated this year has provoked a great deal of debate and interest but the most important part of today is to recognise the hard work and talent that our students have demonstrated over many years and to celebrate their success in securing the next stage of their educational journey. We are delighted that 100% of our students who applied have secured a place at university, with over 20% at Russell Group universities and that our students have chosen to study at prestigious universities across the UK, including Durham, Cardiff and Belfast. Despite the challenges faced by our students in recent times, we are extremely proud of their resilience and positivity and the maturity they have shown. Likewise, our staff have always worked ethically and professionally to support and guide the students throughout a difficult time.
