Christmas Celebrations Across the Trust
As the Christmas break approaches, our academies across the trust have been celebrating in a multitude of ways. This has ranged from staff treating learners with discos and treats, to learners fundraising for the wider community.
Wolfreton staff and learners donated over 150 gifts for Cash For Kids and are on their way to be sent to less fortunate people in Hull and East Riding who aren’t expecting presents under the tree this Christmas Tree.
Croxby Primay School learners enjoyed a Christmas disco and performed a fabulous Nativity play, entitled “A Little Bird Told Me” which was enjoyed virtually by parents and carers.
Cottingham High School and Sixth Form have a visit from Mrs Claus and her elf, who landed in the library!
Winifred Holtby Academy enjoyed a week of Christmas lunches, the HUB held its Christmas fair, learners got involved in Christmas cake decorating, and dressed up for Christmas Jumper Day.
At The Hessle Academy, students and staff enjoyed a delicious Christmas Dinner provided by the lovely staff in the canteen.
Penshurst Primary School learners partied the morning away on Christmas Jumper Day, with snack and treat provided by generous parents and carers.
Holderness supported the Trussell Trust and their local food bank as a part of their Christmas jumper day. Learners donated a whole array of foods in order to help feed the less fortunate this Christmas.
The wonderful kitchen team at Howden School put on an incredible festive spread for staff and learners.
Well done to everyone across the trust for your hard work and dedication over the last half term. Have a very merry festive period with your families, and we look forward to welcoming you all back in 2022.
